July 5

Today is my second day of internship and in the morning I just helped Sonia with some paper work. After wards I met Deepti my mentor she is really cool. She told me about what the lab was all about and what we where going to do. I read some more information on the lab and started working on my project for LYMP. Tomorrow I am going to do some field work which sounds very exciting.

July 3

My first day of internship was not what I expected. I found out that in order for me to do the internship I have to be certified. So that means I had to take a test. Which Sonia (the lady I am working with) said it was very time consuming because their is a lot of reading, and honestly I was not looking foward to that. I later found out that I did not have to take the test and I was allowed to do the internship with out it. However, I had to wait till Thursday to start my internship. I was allowed to leave for the day but I decided to stay, so I helped her with some paper work. Sonia is a very nice lady I got along with her very well.
